Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-05-07

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, generating an API key, or consuming the service, the contracting Organization declares it has read and accepted these Terms of Use and the Attestly Privacy Policy.

2. Service Description

Attestly is a B2B API for socio-environmental compliance. The service exposes endpoints for:

  • Evaluating geometries against authored rulesets
  • Raw spatial intersection against authoritative datasets
  • Distance computation to the nearest feature
  • Identifier matching against subject registers
  • Versioned catalog of immutable rulesets

3. Accounts and API Keys

To use the service, the Organization must:

  • Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date
  • Keep API keys confidential; leaked keys must be revoked immediately
  • Be responsible for all requests made with its keys
  • Not share keys across distinct Organizations

4. Plans and Billing

Playground

Public demo environment with a test key, reduced quotas and captcha protection. May not be used in production.

Paid plans

Recurring billing via Stripe with monthly quotas and/or metered consumption. The cycle follows the Stripe subscription billing window.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. The following rules apply:

  • Each plan's amounts and quotas are presented at purchase time
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancellation
  • Cancellation may be requested at any time and takes effect at the end of the current cycle
  • Refunds are handled case by case, in accordance with applicable law

6. Acceptable Use

It is prohibited to use the service to:

  • Illegal activities or those that violate third-party rights
  • Bypass rate limits, quotas or authentication
  • Re-extract, redistribute or resell the content of authoritative datasets as a product
  • Reverse engineer, perform mass data extraction, or unauthorized benchmarking
  • Overload the infrastructure or interfere with service availability for other clients

7. Intellectual Property

Attestly — including the ruleset specification, the program grammar, the composition of authoritative datasets, and the source code — is the exclusive property of Code4Source. Original data remains under the license of its respective providers.

8. Availability and SLA

We aim for high availability, but the service is provided on a "best effort" basis unless a specific written SLA applies. Scheduled maintenance and incidents are communicated through official channels.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access in case of breach of these Terms, non-payment, abuse, or legal requirement. The Organization may terminate the relationship at any time.

10. Warranties

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that results are suitable for every specific regulatory purpose — the Organization is responsible for validating applicability to its use case.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attestly's total liability towards the Organization is limited to the amounts actually paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice; continued use after the effective date implies acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Forum: jurisdiction of Code4Source's seat, except where mandatory rules provide otherwise.
